High barrier property

Aluminum foil has a barrier rate of over 99% against oxygen, moisture and microorganisms, effectively preventing food from oxidizing, getting damp and moldy. For instance, meat packaged in aluminium foil has a shelf life that is 3 to 5 days longer than that in ordinary plastic packaging when refrigerated at 4℃, and the loss rate is reduced by 20%.

Thermal reflectivity

The surface reflectivity of aluminum foil reaches 89% (during the day) to 87% (at night), which can quickly reflect external heat radiation and reduce temperature fluctuations inside the cold storage. Experimental data shows that aluminum foil cold storage is 15% more energy-efficient than ordinary cold storage, and the monthly loss rate of vegetables has dropped from 30% to 5%.

Temperature resistance

Aluminum foil can maintain its molecular structure stability within the range of -50℃ to 121℃ and is suitable for freezing, refrigeration and secondary heating scenarios. For instance, aluminum foil lunch boxes can be directly placed in a 250℃ oven after being frozen at -20℃ without deforming or releasing harmful substances.
